After taking their first-ever *ONE OR EIGHT 1st LIVE TOUR -GATHER-* across North and South America, the eight-member Japanese boy group is bringing their next chapter to Southeast Asia.
ONE OR EIGHT is an eight-member Japanese boy group comprising MIZUKI, NEO, REIA, RYOTA, SOUMA, TAKERU, TSUBASA and YUGA.
The group’s name, “ONE OR EIGHT”, derives from the Japanese idiom “ichi ka bachi ka”, meaning to take an all-or-nothing gamble. With “BET ON YOURSELF” as their tagline, the group embodies the spirit of betting on their dreams and taking on the world together.
Debuting in August 2024, ONE OR EIGHT have rapidly built global momentum. Their track “TOKYO DRIFT” generated more than 200,000 pieces of user-generated content on TikTok and over 300 million views, while also entering the Mediabase Top 40, setting a record for the most chart entries by a Japanese boy group. In Japan, they received the Upcoming Dance & Vocal Group award at the MTV VMAJ 2025, while in Asia they were named New Artist of the Year at the 2025 Music Awards organised by China’s NetEase.
Following the release of “YANKEE SQUAT”, ONE OR EIGHT released their latest single “INVINCIBLE”, the second single from their upcoming first EP, “EN-GiNE”. Dedicated to their fans, 1DERZ, “INVINCIBLE” is built around the message that no journey is ever taken alone, celebrating the trust, gratitude and connection that have grown between ONE OR EIGHT and their fans since debut.
Their first EP, “EN-GiNE”, arrives on 16 September 2026. Its title combines the Japanese word “EN” (縁), meaning connection or fate, with “GENE”, representing the new driving force created through the relationships the members have built with one another and with fans around the world.
From Tokyo to the world, ONE OR EIGHT have continued to expand their global presence through collaborations with acclaimed creators including Ryan Tedder, David Stewart and Big Sean, U.S. chart success and explosive viral growth across social platforms.
